My office is in the Business building - B200D. For office hours,
see the home page.
- How can I see what I missed on an exam at
ecollege?
Click on the grade in the ecollege gradebook and it will show you your graded
exam.

will make a difference on your final letter grade.

See the ecollege gradebook. You can do a computation based on the

0-59%: F.
- The normal procedure for a "wait listed" student is receive
an add card when the teacher has approved of the enrollment. In the case of an

I usually add everyone on my wait list in online
classes - just wait (!) and I will take care of the details.
- Do you mind students going ahead of schedule for the assignments and
exams? In other words, if a student wanted to complete the entire class work in
two weeks would you mind?
You may complete assignments and exams early, but it is better to try
to stay "with" the rest of the class.
- Can I use multiple email accounts?
I will only communicate with you through the ecollege system.
- What kind of computer do I need?
You need a PC or a Mac.
-

What are threaded discussions? They are asynchronous class discussions, much like a bulletin board.
You can respond to class comments and questions. You participate at your
leisure, but must complete them during the assigned time frames. For more
information on how to contribute to the threaded discussion see the
threaded
discussion page.
- What are the arranged hours for the course?
The time that you spend on the course over the
Internet is considered our arranged hours.
- Will we ever meet on campus?
No.
- Do we have to meet online at a specific time?
No. CS3-online is entirely asynchronous.
- Do I need to buy the textbook?
Yes. The course assignments and exams
are written with the assumption that you have the book.
- May I resubmit homework?
Not unless I specifically request via email that you resubmit a
particular assignment. Since I only grade homework one time, it is best to
make sure it is correct before turning it in.
- What do I do if I am disconnected while taking an
exam?
Send an email to me As Soon As Possible.
- How do I find out my final grade for the class?
It will be posted in the ecollege gradebook within 1 week of the end
